How do I delete photos and attachments in my Yahoo account?

How can I delete my attachments and photos from my Yahoo Mail account?

  • I have lots of old photos and attachments which I don't need anymore and wish to delete. I use Yahoo Classic Mail; on the left hand side I can click on all of my attachments and photos, but I can't see any way of deleting them. I have tried deleting the emails which they were attached to, but this doesn't seem to remove them from the list. Is there any way of deleting these? Thanks.

    Items in "My Photos" and "My Attachments" in Classic Mail are just views of the original email. Deleting the email will delete what is appearing in those folders. It shows what is in the "inbox" and "sent items" along with any other folders you created. You can delete from "message view" in the photo or attachment folders but it deletes the original email along with the attachments. --- To delete attached pictures.... If the pictures are still attached to email and not downloaded there is a way to delete them one email at a time. Don't forget the photo folder online is not a real folder. It just shows all attachments in one place. You can always delete the email and that will delete the associated pictures. If for some reason you want to keep the email and delete the pictures do this. It will take a long time. Move the emails to the drafts folder. One at a time open them and you will see a delete option by each attachment. When done save back into drafts.
