If you are on the beta mail, then click Help at the top of the mail screen. On the drop down click "Return to original mail. Then go to Confirmation. If you are using the New Mail, click Options at the top right of the mail screen, on the drop down click Mail Classic, answer the questions and click Yes to Opt out.

Go to your email page, top right in blue letters click Options. From the drop down box click Mail Classic, you will be switched to classic mail.
