Opened a file sent to me and weird symbols come out?

Every time I open a file attachment and download it to open it, it comes out in weird symbols. D: Look: R&ÝR©ð\®l|ì‘ó162 þÀ†ä¢,ïdü ÕHS‚¸67 ê}È?ÿG[öÄhQj Is it the senders problem or is it my computer?

It looks like you are trying to read a non text file as text. For example a photo, music, word processing, etc. You may just have the wrong file associations. Knowing the file type or extension would be of great help in solving your problem. ₪ ʎəɿʞɹɐq ₪
