How do i get rid of my attachments in my e-mail?

How to get rid of email attachments that I no longer want?

  • I get a warning that they are clogging up the cpu

  • Answer:

Those email attachments are connected to an email that you still have in your Inbox. If your email storage is on your computer, it will be taking up space on your hard drive. If you store your emails on an outside server, such as Yahoo! Mail, it will be taking up available dedicated bandwidth in your Yahoo! Mail account. To get rid of the stored emails that you don't want any more, just go into your email account and delete the excess ones. If there are emails that you don't want, but DO want the attachment, download the attachment, transfer it to a removable drive or DVD, then delete the attachment. You can always access it again from the storage drive or disk.
