I heard that you can use your yahoo e-mail to send and receive text messages sent from a cell phone. Is this true? If so how can I do this

Yes you can. For T-Mobile, you would send an e-mail to [email protected] I'm not sure what other carriers are, but you could easily find out buy going to their website, or calling into customer care Good luck!
