Why can't I open attached pictures?

Why cant i send out e-mails with pictures attached they keep saying message exceeds maximum fixed size?

  • Answer:

If you have windows XP, this is the way I do it. Have the pictures you want to send in a separate file in "my pictures". To do that, Go to "my pictures", Click - make a new folder at top left of screen When folder shows with new folder in highlighted blue underneath, print E-mail. Then click on an empty space on the screen to get rid of high-light. Any pictures you want to send click once to highlight, click copy this file at left task bar, find e-mail folder in my pictures click copy. When all the copies have been sent there open that folder in my pictures click 1 picture to high light it. if you want to send more than one picture... Hold down control button until you have clicked every picture you want to send, then leave control button alone all the pictures you want to send are now highlighted on the left task bar click "e-mail selected items" a box will come up asking if you want to make the pictures smaller, or leave them same size. make sure the radio button indicates MAKE SMALLER click OK E-mail sending box will come up for you to put in address, title, and message when finished click send All pictures will be sent at about 40-60 Kbytes in size the other person will get full size pictures and can save them into file if they want. Try it, Send a picture to yourself and you will see this works.
