What is the maximum file attachment size on Yahoo email?

Need help with sending email with attachment?

  • For some reason im trying to send an email with an attachment and it keeps saying "technical error". I'm using AIM mail to send to GMAIL/YAHOO. It does not work. The attachment file is a .wav file and it is 88.0MB's. Could the issue be that the file size is too big? Whats the deal here?

  • Answer:

If you use Gmail, this may work 1.) Go to www.jzip.com 2.) Download jzip version 1.3 3.) Go to Gmail 4.) Go to compose message 5.) Click Attach File A window should open up, look near the bottom of the window. At the bottom of this window it should say "Compress to:" and have a check box next to it 6.) Click the check box. Next to the checkbox is a box that should say jzipattachment.zip 7.) Rename the file (do this by replacing the default jzipattachment.zip with 'your filename'.zip) [leave the .zip extension] After you send the email, the recipient will click on the zip file and will have to unzip the file. If your the recipient, you already have jzip and can then open the file up in jzip and unzip it.
