How do I delete saved photos/attachments from my mail page?

In my yahoo mail account on the left hand side of the page there is Search Shortcuts how do I delete them.?

• It shows all the photos and attachments that came with my emails. I thought after I deleted the emails that they went away but they get saved in this shortcut. Please help me get rid of them.

  Alrighty lets see if this helps you ..I never knew they was still there thanks for that info ( learned something from you LOL) anyhow back to what your asking... Open your mail welcome page you will see those search short cut right...ok... open the one you want to delete from ...ok..now at the top of the pictures you will see three choices...ok...one will be message view, one will be photo veiw, and last one will be attachment veiw...ok... click on message veiw, click on it it will show every e-mail these attachment came with ...ok...now at each letter received you will see a small box click each one ...ok...then back at the top there is a delete button hit it and they should be all gone make sure you don't want the attachments first or you might loose them for sure...OK...I would try it myself but I wan tto keep what I have so I can not do it sorry, but let me know if this works so if I ever need to do it I will know OK.hope this helps Now I don't know if that will take the search shorcuts completely off the list but it will get rid of the attachments for you I am sure.
