What does -----Inline Message Follows----- mean?
-
I am trying to open a email attachment sent to me a long time ago and now I don''t find the link for the attachment
-
Answer:
I assume that you found the message in your yahoo inbox or one of the folders where you store your mail. The message should show a 'paper clip' next to the message line. Then when you look at the message view box, the attachment line should be just above the message. Click on that. If there is no attachment line just above the message box then there is no attachment. If there is an attachment it should still be there as long as you have not erased the message itself. The Inline Message Follows note is really misleading. Some email providers include an attachment that is really the text of the email message, so in fact you get the same message twice. Not sure how that happens.
