How do I open attached files in an email?
-
We have microsoft word and adobe reader, but everytime I try to open the documents, they open in word pad and it's just a bunch of random signs and stuff.

Answer:
1. Open your e-mail program. 2. Open the e-mail message with the attachment. 3. Double-click the attachment icon. 4. Choose "Open it" or "Save," and then click OK to either view the file right there or save it onto your hard drive. Maybe the shortcut target of opening that file directs you to word pad, edit it to direct to ms-word of it is a microsoft word file.
