How To Submit Url To Aol?

I cannot open email attachments. I get:-"The requested URL was not found on this server" My ISP=AOL Help pleas?

  • Also the following:- AOL Server/3.4.2 on http:// errors.aol.com which means nothing to me

    Alan is right, AOL is the worst ISP, try any other provider - meanwhile, if you have an antivirus software program running, check the settings. I have been having the same problem for weeks. I posted the same questions here last week. Ooops answer above has been no help for me. Switching to Classic was no help. I Googled the question and found this answer that did work: I had the same problem, which had to do with my anti-virus (Trend Micro). I had to go into Virus Controls; then Protection Against Viruses; click on Settings and uncheck the box that said "Threats in Web mail attachments". Remember, Yahoo uses Norton to download attachments so you can't have two virus protections "running" at the same time. I have Trend Micro antivirus, other people have had this download trouble with McCaffey antivirus, the solution is the same, though the steps may be different.

Yahoo is still having some problems at the moment. Suggested cures range from Update Adobe Flash Player and Java script to clear IE7 cache, cookies, and browsing history. Different things seem to work for different people. It's causing attachments to not show, 999 errors where it won't let you do a particular action and some people cannot send receive delete or move mail. It's not just Vista either it's happening to some of us on XP. If all else fails go back to classic mail via this link. http://us.mg1.mail.yahoo.com/dc/optout?script=no click yes when asked do you want to opt out. Hope this helps.

AOL is total rubbish, changing to a decent ISP would be your best option
