How do you send a e-mail like the yahoo people send us with pictures and links?

I have tried to do HTML on the e-mail's but when i send it, they only show the HTML codes not what i wanted it to show. Please HELP!!

Copy and paste the pics instead of the codes. Some of them work like that for me.
