I can't download my attachment on yahoo.

In the new Yahoo mail, when I download the attachment nothing happens. It appears to download, but nothing?

  • I can't get the attachment to download on the new yahoo mail. If I forward the email to outlook, it will download it, but not on Yahoo. Seems like it is downloading with Norton, but then nothing happens after. Any thoughts?

  • Answer:

check how you have set up your system to download them...meaning where are the downloads going... First of all when you download photos/attachments they also AUTOMATICALLY go in to your MY PHOTOS/MY ATTACHMENTS folder which can be accessed on the left side of your email page UNLESS you delete the message. FIREFOX Click on TOOLS ...then OPTIONS. Once the next box comes up click on the GENERAL TAB unless it is already in it. Scroll down to ALWAYS ASK ME WHERE TO SAVE FILES and click on the circle to the left so the dot is in the middle of it... Go below and click OK. Now when you download something it will ask you where you want to send it. INTERNET EXPLORER When you click on the attachment you will be given the option of OPEN or SAVE or CANCEL. If you click on SAVE the next box opens up and you can see what is in the SAVE IN box at the top. If you click on the down arrow on the right side of this box you will be given several options where to send it. The file name will already be in the bottom FILE NAME box. After you decide where you want it when you click on SAVE that is where it will end up
