Why am I not able to send an attachment in my mail?

Yahoo Mail is default mail program. I left click a doc and send as attachment, there is no attachment made.?

  • Yahoo Mail is my default mail program. Yet when I left click on a document on my desktop and do a Send as Attachment, when yahoo mail comes up to the compose mail screen, there is no attachment. How can I correct this? It worked when Outlook was my default mail program.

    Below "subject" click "attach files". In the next window click "browse" to find and select a file or photo from your harddrive. Click the file, then click "open". I have same problem--but am trying to send attachment from Windows--not from Yahoo. Could do it before I recently had to re-install Windows. Must be a setting besides making Yahoo!Mail my email program in Internet settings. I got to Yahoo signon screen but file is not waiting to be attached as before.
