How can I get a picture from my email to my cell phone?

How to email a picture to cell phone?? PLEASE ANSWER 10 PTS!!!?

I want to send some pictures that i have on my email to my cell phone. I texted my email from my phone and now i know the correct format to send my pictures from my email but when i try to do it my cell phone doesn't get the picture, it just gets some text and it says the attachment has been removed. btw i am taking the pictures from my email, dragging them to the desk top, and choosing them as attachments to send with my email to my cell phone. can anyone help me?
