How do I delete stored photos and attachments from email?

Can I delete "my attachments" and "my photos" in Yahoo email?

• In my Yahoo email inbox, I see 2 folders -- "my attachments" and "my photos". They contain a bunch stuff that came with emails. (photos, docs, etc.) Is there any way to delete only the contents of those two folders?

  I had to sit and figure this out one night. Took me about 3 hours As long as those photos are "anywhere" in your mail, they will stay in those folders. This includes your trash folder. You can click on the link associated with the photo and delete that email. Do it with all you want to get rid of, and then delete all items in your trash folder. There isnt a delete button in those folders to get rid of them any other way. I was lucky once, when my computer crashed, I was able to get some photos I thought I had lost from there. I hadnt deleted the sent folder in a long, long time..and luckily I was able to get them from My Photos folder.
