Why cant I see my picture attachments on emails?

When I open my email messages, I cant see the pictures that are attached to them.

Answer:
A Yahoo posting suggests that you disable scanning attachments in your anti virus software.If that fails go back to classic mail Hope this helps.

The pictures may be in wrong format ,try sending a picture to yourself,if it works problem is with sender.pictures should be in jpg,jpeg or bmp format.Do you receive any fault messages when trying to view photos?
