I cannot attach a file to a mail in Yahoo.

I can't attach picture file with yahoo mail?

  • I just updated to the new yahoo mail and no longer can attach a small picture and I can't change back to my old version of yahoo mail. It's show the file attaching but used to take seconds to attach now it just never finishes attaching a simple jpeg file. Completely disappointed in yahoo. Please help.

    Hello there, A number of people are asking the same question with similar concerns. There are several options available for you. #1) These link are still working today, July 16, 2011 and will RETURN and launch your email back to Classic Mail. http://us.mc598.mail.yahoo.com/mc/launch, as will this link: http://us.mc598.mail.yahoo.com/mc/welcome #2 I have a Yahoo! Plus account, there is an option there to switch back to Yahoo! Classic, which I have done and it remains, and perhaps that is an option for you. The Yahoo! Plus account is $19.99 (US) a year. #3 Numerous solutions for various browsers and different versions of Windows people use, this is the best solution. Classic Mail is still available and I don't think it is cast in stone as to the exact date Classic Mail will not be available. http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/cl%E2%80%A6 If you have moved over to the new version of Yahoo Mail there is no link available anymore to move back to Classic, but you can get back to Classic as described below. Log out of your email Depending on what service you are using follow the instructions below to disable what is shown. After you disable it log back in to your email. Beta will not be available anymore due to what has been disabled. At this time you will be given an option of going back to Classic Mail. Once you are back in don't forgot to follow the same steps and turn them back on. IE: Click on TOOLS....INTERNET OPTIONS....SECURITY. Once in click on CUSTOM LEVEL and disable ACTIVE SCRIPTING located under SCRIPTING. There are many listings under Custom Level and this one is located down near the end. Click on OK. Firefox Click on TOOLS....OPTIONS...CONTENT...Once in click on ENABLE JAVASCRIPT to remove the check mark in the box to the left of it. Click Ok.
