Cannot open Yahoo email attachment in Internet Explorer.

There is a REAL problem starting to surface with Yahoo mail. I cannot open email attachments.?

• When I go to open an attachment, it goes along fine until the open or download time and then it goes to a page that says Internet Explorer is not able to open this website. It is not a website that I am trying to open...it is an attachment or word doc. I have noticed several emails and people asking the same question and so far it appears as if the problem began about 2 weeks ago with Yahoo mail. Other mail servers are not reporting the problem yet however, this is really hurting my business here at home with not being able to open up word docs inside my email. Please Help.   Yahoo is still having some problems at the moment. Suggested cures range from Update Adobe Flash Player and Java script to clear IE7 cache, cookies, and browsing history. Different things seem to work for different people. It's causing attachments to not show, 999 errors where it won't let you do a particular action and some people cannot send receive delete or move mail. It's not just Vista either it's happening to some of us on XP.
