How do you download a Flickr photo?

How do I download photos from Flickr, Kodakgallery, and Shutterfly, so that I can burn them to a CD?

  • The pictures were sent to me in emails from other people. I want a permanent copy on a CD, so that I don't have to save the emails, and risk losing the access to the photos. When I view the photos on the Flickr, Kodakgallery, and Shutterfly websites, I don't ever see any download photo options.

  • Answer:

    Most photos on those sights are copyright protected by the people who took them, most people do not allow the download function so people can't steal the work. I suggest you contact the person who took the photos and get them to send you a copy of the photo via email if they are willing, but depending on the photographer, I don't think you'll get a lot of compliance.

Flickr is tricky as you have to click the View Full Size by clicking the magnifying glass above the picture. ( hopefully there is one) Then right click, and save to file. If the person, has made all their photos private, then its hard to get a picture from there. Or your friend can make them available to his contact list. I dont use the other two.

You can yahoo or google search and download "RZ Free Burner", freeware, easy to use, hope it can help you.

Try right clicking on each photo then follow the prompts to save it to a folder
