What is wrong with the Yahoo! email?

I can't email pictures anymore in Yahoo Classic...What am I doing wrong???

• Up until a few weeks ago (at about which time Yahoo put out a blurb about "exciting new changes" to its Yahoo Classic email), I was able to reduce the file size of jpeg pictures I wanted to send via email by going to "My Pictures", then clicking on the subfile and then the particular picture I wanted to send and then clicking on "email this picture" in the left column and then choosing the "make all my pictures smaller" option. At his point, I was given an intermediary window in which there were 5 spaces for file names and the file name of the picture I'd reduced was at the top and I could cut and paste it into one of the file spaces in this intermediary window and it would then give me the option to "attach" it to the email message. Now, I go thru the same motions with choosing the "make my pics smaller" option but no intermediary screen is presented and I'm winding up with no way, as far as I can tell to get the picture attached in a small (about 1000 kb) size. Help!!!

  Yahoo is still having some problems at the moment. Suggested cures range from Update Adobe Flash Player and Javascript to clear IE7 cache, cookies, and browsing history. Different things seem to work for different people. It's causing attachments to not show, 999 errors where it won't let you do a particular action and some people cannot send receive delete or move mail. It's not just Vista either it's happening to some of us on XP. I have been advised to use this site to view my mail, www.mail2web.com if all else fails go back to classic mail via this link. http://us.mg1.mail.yahoo.com/dc/optout?script=no click yes when asked do you want to opt out.
