Why can I send email but can not send email with attachments?

Why can't I send email attachments properly ?

  • Why is it when I send pictures as email attachments, the recipients only recieve a plain box with a red square in it, instead of my picture ? I used to send pictures OK but I must have done or changed something on my pc. I have windows 2000 pro, Dell pc..any ideas ???

    This seems to be a glitch in Yahoo at the moment, no doubt they are working on this. It is one of many problems and the answers seem to be different for everyone. Probably it's not you. It could be the recipients email program that blocks email to be displayed as a part of their security/virus protection. Try sending it to your Yahoo email address. If pictures arrive fine in Yahoo i guess it is something to do with the recipient's program.
