How to add an image to an e-mail?

Add an image to Outlook email without it later becoming an attachment.?

  • Greetings, I'm having diffculty adding an image from a live server so that it can be viewed on the email without it becoming an attachment. I'm using Microsoft Outlook 2007 and testing it by sending it to my Yahoo account. I have tried copying and pasting a modified html table that has the images linking from the server. That has failed. So I tried inserting images from the link, they show on the preview but still come up as attachments. I've seen emails without the images as attachments and they show well in the message. So how is this done in Microsoft Outlook?

  • Answer:

Open a new email, click on the body of the email, then click Insert located at the top of the page. You will have an option of text or picture. If what you want is not there click the small folder with the green arrow tell it appears. Note! any thing you try to send by email must be on your computer except a URL which can be copied and pasted to a email.
