Why can't I attach file though I click the "attach file" button?

I have a problem attaching files, I click on the attach file but nothing happens. I do not get a browse icon.?

I have a problem attaching files, I click on the attach file but nothing happens. I don't get the browse icon. When sending the composed send button it will send the mail but it does not show that it was sent. I always have to send a copy to myself by adding my yahoo address to receive a copy to know whether it went or not.
Answer:

You have described some of the recent problems experienced by hundreds of users (not everyone is affected). Probably caused by the recent upgrades. Some users are tricking Yahoo into switching them to Classic Mail where the attachments work and you get a file of Sent mail. Yahoo switches them right back. Notify help.yahoo.com so they have a record. They are working on it.
