How do you make a moving gif image?

How to make animated gif pictures with moviemaker?

  You need to import the gif animation from within Movie Maker. Open Movie Maker and click on "Import ...Photos". Browse to the gif you want to add and click on it and click OK. Once it's imported into Movie Maker, drag it to the location on the Timeline/Storyboard where you want it to be. Note: I've had mixed success with animated gifs in Movie Maker 6.0 (Vista). Some of them work and some of them don't. The commercial gifs that I've downloaded are mostly failures in Movie Maker. I don't know if they have some kind of code added to them for protection or if I'm just an unlucky person who only downloads gifs that won't work:-) Those I've made myself in Photoshop Elements and the animated logos I've made online seem to work OK in Movie Maker. I mostly download holiday gifs from... http://www.1netcentral.com/graphics_directory.html Just google "free animated gifs" (without the quotes) and start hunting for what you want.
