How can I embed a high resolution vector photo into email.?

I created a design on Adobe Illustrator that I want to embed into the body of my email. Its a custom invitation and I don't want it as an attachment. how do I embed or what type of file can I create WITHOUT loosing quality? I've tried exporting as a PNG, Jpeg, EPS and every time I test send to myself it looks like a scanned image! please help!

Answer:
There are quality options - you should be able to export to JPEG without it looking like a scanned image. In Illustrator, try using the File > Save For Web & Devices dialogue. Adjust the quality manually - 100% will be best quality but also higher file size.
