How to delete attachments?

Can someone tell me how to delete attachments. I go into my email and click on attachments or photos and it pulls up a lot of things i have looked at on the internet. Some i want to keep and some i want to delete. But at the bottom of the page all it says is save to my computer. There is no delete any were. Does anyone know how i can delete the ones i do not want to keep?
