Why am I not able to view picture attachemnts to my emails on hotmail?

Some times when I open an email I can view the picture and other tme I cant view them. I am talking about the same email that I opened previously and picture attachments were there and then next time I opened it they all disappeared! Why would that be?

Answer:
Now a days all the mail clients block the images suspecting for a spam, However there is an option show the images and always show images from this sender, If you select that you can be able to see the images.
