How do I delete incoming e-mails that are no longer needed?

Can one delete ONLY the pict. or attachments from an email?

• I've realized that each time I send or receive an email with either an attachment or photos, these are automatically stored in my email account. Is there any way to delete these without having to delete the actual email? The thing is some of the written content of the emails are interesting, at times even needed, but not the photos attached to the email, the photos hence, are taking up unnecessary space in my account.   You might try to copy and paste the part of the email you want to save in an email to yourself and then delete the original. I have copied and pasted some emails I wanted to forward to eliminate a lot of peoples addresses the mail was previously sent to and it works well but even though some of the pictures show up in my mail sent the people I send it to don't see the pictures. I don't understand that but the text shows up in the recipients mail. ...Good Luck...
