How can I email a photo on Yahoo email without using an attachment?

Is it possible to 1) Put a border around text and 2) Add a photo (NOT as an attachment) in my Yahoo email?

• I would like to create a "newsletter" type mailing for my business. I am looking to put a border around a part of my text and also need to add a picture of our logo. I need the picture to be in the actual email instead of an attachment. Please note that my email is through Yahoo - I know that some emails offer options that are different from others. Any help or ideas would be appreciated!

  The web version of Yahoo mail is very limited. You can not have borders or any HTML formatting other that what is on the format bar. You need an account with POP3 and a standalone email program. For Yahoo it is $19.99 a year. For Gmail it is free. You can have any photo including an animated gif that is already on the web. Place the picture on the web. For example Flickr or Photobucket. There is no way to have an inline image directly from your computer in Yahoo mail on the web. It requires a separate email program. For IE go to the picture and right click on it and copy. Now go to the email body or signature and paste it. For Firefox it is a little trickier. Go to the picture in another window. You must be able to see the picture and the email window at the same time. Drag the picture to the email body or signature. NOTE: The picture you are dragging must not be a link, eg. clickable. If it is a link the link address gets copied rather than the picture. The picture must remain on the web since a link is used and not the actual picture. ʎəɿʞɹɐq  ̊ ͜͡● ̊
