The new Yahoo "easy" mail attachment formula doesn't work, why? Is there any way to get it to work? Why has Yahoo changed the simple former mail attachment formula? The new system fails to work. Where once I simply attached documents by clicking an attachment paperclip at the bottom of the email, now my only option (not really an option because there are no alternatives) is for me to click on "Attach files more easily." But the attempt to set up this new ostensibly easy attach tool has been the opposite of easy for me - and has failed every time I've tried to set it up. First, of course, this window comes up . . . "Setting Up - Set up depends on your browser security settings. A browser window may appear to confirm your installation. This may take a few seconds." "A few seconds" is a huge understatement. My last attempt is still pending a hour later than when I began. I explain below. In the process the yahoomailuploader_0.5dmg downloads to my computer but the clockwise arrows next to "This may take a few seconds..." continue to go around and around indefinitely, and they never stop to indicate that whatever function is supposed to finish has indeed finished. And this leaves me unable to attach anything to my emails - so that now, thanks to this new function, a once simple process is now impossible. So whatever Yahoo intended to do - make a function easier for its customers - has succeeded in taking a formerly simple function that had always succeeded for this customer and has not only not made it easy or even difficult - but has made it impossible. In my business, I count on the ongoing ability to attach things to emails quickly, easily and effectively - and as I can no longer do this with Yahoo I may have to change servers. Not that I want to - but Yahoo has left me little choice. For at this point I'm at the mercy of Yahoo's technological dreams to provide better service to all, which, as I have described, have taken from this one independent customer what before had been simple and consistent successful service and left him with nothing. All I can do is hope someone comes forth with an answer because for right now I am at a loss. Again - The new Yahoo "easy" mail attachment formula doesn't work, why? Is there any way to get it to work? Dave Bacon

Answer:
Maybe this can help you, I use Internet Explorer and could not find a solution to switch back to Classic Mail permanently after 2 days of pulling my hair out lots of problems! I have not found links work permanently, I went to CONTACT YAHOO CUSTOMER CARE, then clicked on LIVE CHAT, told them my old computer can not handle it, and they switched me back 5 to10 min. total, no problem, and they do not prompt me to switch anymore! You can also call Yahoo USA, but you will wait forever! 1-866-562-7219. Don’t forget to vote for best answer. Anyway Good Luck!
