How do I delete pictures that are saved in my Yahoo account?

How can I remove the files and pictures yahoo saves under Photos and Attachments folders?

• I do not want my pictures ever saved in my yahoo account. Why can I not delete those folders? I do make copies of my bank cards and other important information. I do not want yahoo to keep those in the folders.

• Answer:

  The photos in My Photos or My Attachments-- You have to click on the photo and then delete the corresponding email where that photo is contained. As long as its anywhere at all in your mail box, this includes, drafts, sent, inbox, personalized folders, trash etc ... It will stay in those folders. So this means, once you click on the email to delete it from ( lets say for example) the inbox folder, you will still have to delete the trash folder before it goes totally away. It'd be better to do a few orig email deletions first, then empty the trash folder. Rather than go both places just for one photo
