How do I attach my saved avatar to my answers profile?

  • I have created an avatar in the 'get my avatar now' page, and saved it to 'my favourites', but I can see no way to attach it to my profile! Whenever i go to 'edit my preferences' the option for an avatar is greyed out and it says there is no avatar selected. What do I do? Why is it so f***ing difficult?

  • Answer:

    You save your avatar using the orange button under it, Do not save to favorites. Then you come here & edit your preferences & select to use your avatar ( it may show as profile image so you may need to select that option to get it to show) preview the page & OK.*

Do not save to favorites unless you are creating another one. You must create it and then leave it. If you save to favorites and then clear the picture it will not work. Once done you go to the Yahoo Answers profile at http://answers.yahoo.com/my/my_edit . You can pick the cartoon or photo to use.
