How to send emails to another prohibiting the other to copy or forward the same ?
-
When I send emails to a friend of mine with attachments, the same is copied and forwarded to another which is undesirable by me. I have told not to forward but still the attachments are copied and sent just because I told not to do so.I searched the Google, they have explained but I am not able to process it. The matter is not clear. I have Windows7 loaded on my PC. Does it mean that I have the IRM (Information Right management) laready loaded ?How to check this ? Google says, - save the document -click 'Microsoft office button' ( don't know where that is ) -point to 'Prepare' ( cant locate so called 'point to') then point to 'Restrict permission', then click ok and its done. Nothing is clear to me. Can someone tell me step by step how this can be done. I don't have deep knowledge about computers so please explain as you would explain to a lay-man. I will try out each step and would be extremely thankful if I will be able to do it,then.

Answer:
The method you mention relies on both people having Microsoft Office installed, and then allows documents to be protected. I'd guess it's to prevent cut-and-paste copying of text. There is no security that will prevent a person you allow to view an image on their own computer from copying it - once it's on screen, it can be reproduced. How about 'watermarking' the images before you send them, so the copy you send has text or an image over it stating it's your property or your copyright (which it is if you took the photo or created the image). There are loads of free online sites that can add watermark overlays to pictures, or if you have any reasonable photo editor there is a good chance you can do it with that as well. There are also programs specifically to add watermarks to photos. (Consider the repeated grid style rather than a single line, so it can't be cropped off). See the links for some examples.
