    Ok, I don't think you can read from PDF and type in word in the same time. You can read PDF using Adobe Reader which is free. If you want to type in Word, you can convert the PDF to Word using AnyBizSoft, which can preserve the original text content, images and layouts. That's accurate, even protected PDF can be converted.
