Why cant I download an Attachment?

Yahoo mail problem, i cant download the attachment?

  • Help.....what happen to my mail box, i cant download the attachment. But if i forward the mail with attachment to my other accout, i can download the attachment, who can tell me how to solve this problem, please.......

    Yes I am having the same problem. I just forwarded my yahoo email to another email server, (in this case, I sent it to gmail.com) and was able to open it. Hopefully Yahoo will get this fixed. You would think with all that money Yahoo receives by selling your yahoo acount to spammers, they would want to get it fixed.. Tim

I've been having the same problem. I just did what Tamas L said to do, but once I clicked "download," there was a server error. So, I enabled Java and it worked fine. You still need to use the old version of Yahoo! Mail, just enable java once you get to the email attachment.

you're not alone on this one. Several accounts have this problem including mine. Yahoo had been experiencing downtime for the last 12hours. :(

It's a problem with java script. I found a solution, you have to open your browser then: - for Firefox go to Menu - Options - content and uncheck Enable Java script - for IE go to Tools - Internet Options - Security - Custom Level and search for java script (to the end of the list). Check disable. Then open your yahoo account, revert to classic mail if you have new yahoo mail and you'll be able to download attachements. You have to wait a little bit but for me it's working. Good luck :)))
