How do you put a picture in your outgoing mail?

How do I put a picture in an e-mail?

• I want to put a picture in the main part of an e-mail not as an attachment. Any one know how to do that? I'll be using a hotmail account if that helps any.

  Right click on the picture you want to send, select copy. Open the email you want to send, right click select paste on the main body of the email. It is called copy and paste. After putting the above answer, I tried copying and pasting with hotmail, virgin media, and yahoo, none of them let us do it now, I think it is something to do with security. I used to be able to do it, but I think some malware (bad things) can be passed from computer to computer that way, I can copy but I can't paste. I now have to click attachment and browse , my pictures, and select one. Some people don't open attachments though, again for security reasons. There is security software which protects computers from malware in emails, but not everyone uses it. I also used to be able to right click on the picture and e-mail it direct from there, but I can't do that now, by deleting something in the program I can enable the computer to send direct, but it is too much trouble because the thing keep reinstalling itself, it is part of windows program. Just tried right clicking on picture and sending to email recipient, it works again without making adjustments, but it puts it in as an attachment, so it is not what you wanted, sorry.
