Why is it that Yahoo Mail does not automaticaly open attachments?

Why can't I open attachments in my Yahoo mail from my aol account?

Hi there - seems like a new problem has cropped up. Today, when I accessed my yahoo account through AOL, I could not open attachments. The attachments open just fine when I open up using Internet Explorer. Yesterday attachments opened fine through aol ... is this an aol problem or a yahoo problem?
Answer:

It's probably just a compatibility problem. You should just use Internet Explorer to make things easier on yourself. I've had the same problems and its a headache, but it all depends on what programs are running on your system and so on.
