What are the risks of opening and receiving an attachment from an email?

Answer:
If it's from an unknown source it can be a Virus, Trojan, or any one of many malware attacks. Rule of thumb is if you do not know the sender trash it.

Hi Jodie, I never accept emails with attachments from unknown sources.I think that's just asking for trouble,but they can be great fun if from friends The danger is minimal if you have a descent anti-virus. Have a great day RóGéR
