How do I send a file in Yahoo mail?

How do I shrink the file size of a picture that I want to send through yahoo e-mail?

• I want to attach a few pictures to an e-mail on my yahoo e-mail account. The pictures were taken at with an 8mp camera, so there file size on my PC is at least 2.0mb. Is their a way in yahoo or otherwise to shrink the size before I attatch it?

  Yes, you can convert them into JPEG. The quality will definitely reduce, but I guess, you win some lose some :) Go to your Paint program, in Start menu--->Accesories. Open the file, now File--->Save as. Select JPEG type from the down down menu below the box prompting you to write the file name. You can also try this http://www.shrinkpictures.com/ It will resize the pic, make it smaller, and hence occupy lesser space. And when you attach the pics to your mail, make sure you make a zip file containing all pics you want to send. You can send many pics (instead of the usual 5 that it allows) in ONE zip file, unless you exceed the size limit. Good luck!
