Why does my email continue to have problems attaching files?

Why am I having problems attaching documents to my email?

  • One day I can attach word files to my emails and the next day I can't. I keep getting a message that says, "Invalid file specified. PLease try again". Nothing has changed in the word file. I can log onto other accounts and attach the file but it won't attach to a email I create with yahoo.

    Hey I had the same problem, but now i fixed it.! try this.... go to 'Tools" - click "Internet Options", click on the "security tab", then click on the "custom level", then scroll down and choose - "Navigate-sub frames accross different domains" - and select "enable" then click "apply" or "OK". It should be working now. Try it out and see if it works. Hope this helps!!!

do this........ click tools,internet options,security tab, custom level,scroll down till you see("navigate sub-frames across different domains"), click enable, click apply,click ok, exit. try to attach again, vote for me as best answer

If you are using the BETA email with yahoo, then yes, this problem has been happen'in quite often to quite a few people, so dont feel as though its just you. Its a hic-up in yahoo and as you have noticed some days you can and some days you cant. Some people have been having other such as size (being that yahoo has a 10mg size limit).... Its the same attachement they have been sending however this day they are having problems. You could try to rename the doc. and try sending it that way. zip it? and try sending it that way. This as you have seen does self correct from time to time. Remember BETA means just that... TRIAL AND ERROR GOOD LUCK ciao
