Is it possible to retrieve my photos in Yahoo! Photo Album?

It only came to my notice that the Yahoo! Photo Album has been closed in Sep 07. I have never received the notice of such closure as I seldom use one of the yahoo email accounts which I specially created for saving my photos. It was a shock to me when I learnt the news recently. The photos are of sentimental value to me which captured a lot of treasurable memories of my adventures during the four years from 2002 to 2006... Anyone has the same experience and able to get back their photos? I feel so sad about this...
