You could put them into a Zip file and send the single file. However, to ensure the file isn't an unmanageable size, each photo would have to be reduced in size, and image editing software is needed for this. A better alternative (perhaps) is to post your pics on a photo sharing site. Then you only need to send the link to your friends. They can go to the site and view your pics online. (I never send pics by email anymore.)

Another way to send pictures other than attatching them would be to upload them to photobucket, or imageshack, ect. and then copy and paste the links to the pictures in the email. And then the person receiving the email can click the links and save the pictures to their computer or whatever. It depends what email service your using but sometimes you can attatch multiple pictures at a time. I'm not sure though.
