How can I open the attached files?

Why I can not open the attached files lately?

  • I have someone sent me attached files to my yahoo e-mail that I could not open it and then I have forward same e-mail to my brother's g-mail account to check if he can open the files.Luckyly, He can open it. My question is, Why yahoo could not opent it?

    One reason is that yahoo doesn't open files. A program on your computer is what opens attachments. since you can't open these attachments that more than likely means that you do not have the correct program to open these files. As an example if the files has the extension of doc, or txt then a word processor program will open it. If the extension is pdf then adobe is the program to use. Type the 3 letter extension in a search engine and normally it will tell you what program it needs to open it.
