Why can't I open my email attachments?

Why cant i open my email attachments?

• everytime someone sends me a email attachment and i try to download it i get this message "invalid menu handle" and it wont open. i even tried sending a picture to my own email address and still got that message, still would not open. could someone please tell me in laymans terms what that means and how do i fix it? thank you so much for your time, cookie.

  You may have the spam filter set to not allow attachments--which can sometimes contain malicious files. If that is the case go into HELP and adjust the spam filter settings. If you are checking your email at work, your employer may have a firewall on the server that blocks attachments. If this is the case, I am not sure what to tell the boss... Hope this helps. Good luck.
