How do I get rid of old attachments yahoo saves?

• I just realized Yahoo saves all your photos and attachments forever in my Yahoo email file. I am on a new pc now BUT I had a trojan in those attachmets and some viruses as well. How do I delete these old files? I am not going into Yahoo on my new pc until they are gone. I had very sophiticated softwear on my old pc but my room mate downloaded some bad files in my yahoo and they got in. I see no method to get them out. Thanks for your help and if Yahoo techs seee this please help us who need to get rid of these old files.

  Click on ATTACHMENTS and then MESSAGE VIEW. This will give you the box at the top SENDER. Clicking on that box will check all the attachments on that page. One click on the DELETE button will delete all the attachments on that page. Go to the next and repeat...I believe 50 is the max you can have on a page. Check this by clicking on OPTIONS and then MAIL PREFERENCES. You will see messages/results per page...If it is not at 50 you will be able to change it there.
