Why won't attachments, that I send, open for the recipient?

Why can't people open attachments that I send?

I just switched to the new Yahoo, but now whenever I attach files the recipients only get a URL looking thing. If I send the same file in Yahoo classic, everything works fine. This has happened with all the file types I've tried to send, including PDFs and new and old versions of MS Office files.
