How do you attach a link to your question?

How do I attach a link to my question?

  • Answer:

Go to the website or pic on the website that you want to link to and open it. The url will be displayed in your browser window, click into it, thereby marking it. Copy the url, now you can insert it in your question or answer or in your mail. Make sure you have a blank space before and after the url, otherwise it won't be clickable. If you want to link to a pic which you have saved on your computer, you must get a free account with Flickr for example (belongs to Yahoo), upload your pic and then proceed as described above. http://www.flickr.com/ Note: linking to a picture and asking a somewhat personal "hot or not" question is violating the chatting rules, so please be careful...:-)

OK so the way I do it is this: I reduce the answers page to minimum (so it goes to the bottom of your screen) Open another window with the link you want to ad, and at the top of the page in your browsers space you will see http: blah blah blah (what ever you are looking at) right click it, and then click copy. (This saves the page for you) Next go back to your original answers page and simply right click again and it will show you the word paste.....click that and voila! it will be added. This is called copy and paste Hope you understand all that, once you've done it a few times it's easier than it sounds!!

Picture with question You have to have an account with one of the photo sharing sites like Flicker or Photo Bucket. Upload the picture to the photo sharing site. Then you can get the URL and paste it to your question. To get the URL in Photo Bucket left click next to direct link on the script one time, it will turn blue, then right click on it and select Copy. Open the question box and right click on the body of the box and select Paste. With Flicker, on the top right click Share This-> a box will open click Grab Link, then right click on the script and select copy. Go to your question and in the body of the question right click and select paste. http://domainbean.com/2008/03/30/url-pri%E2%80%A6 http://www.flickr.com/ http://photobucket.com/ http://www.shutterfly.com/ http://www.picturepush.com/ http://www.snapfish.com/info17 http://lenzus.com/ To get a link, go to the web page you want and right click on the URL and select copy. Go to your Q or A and in the body of your Q or A right click and select Paste. A URL is near the top of the page and always begins with http:// Good Luck http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/answers/vote/vote-702891.htm
