How can I embed a pic inside an email?

When I add a jpg pic. to a email (not as a attachment) why wont It show up. I just get the red X no pic.?

    What mail service do you use? Yahoo? On some mail programs, there's a little "add picture" or "add image" button right near where you can change font, color, etc. I thought Yahoo had that too, but apparently not... If you do add the image as an attachment, depending on the recipient's mail server, it would show up below the email anyway, like on Yahoo. If I get image attachments, they show up under the email text. If you still don't want to send pictures as an attachment (because attachments can be troublesome), you can upload the pictures onto a website like www.photobucket.com and send the link to the picture in the body of the email. The recipient can then just hold the "ctrl" key on their keyboard and click the link, then the picture will open conveniently in a new tab on their internet browser (assuming they are using Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer 7). Sorry I can't help you out better... Good luck...
