How do I reply to a postcard on PostSecret.com?

Can a photograph of postcard size with a blank back be sent through the UK post as a postcard (with address)?

  • Must the word POST CARD be printed on the back for the item to be considered a postcard?

  • Answer:

As long as it has got a stamp, and an address, it will get there.

TallPaul in correct. It only needs a readable address & postcode, and a stamp. It does not need to say 'PostCard' on it either.

It does not matter anymore, last year the categories of post were changed. This item would now be a "letter" as long as it was within the following limits. Length: 240mm max Width: 165mm max Thickness: 5mm max Weight: 100g max A postcard would also be a letter.

As long as it is 4 by 6 inches or less it will go as a postcard. Regular photo paper would probably get torn up too badly though.
